Journalism's First Obligation is to the TRUTH!
About Me
- Truth And Journalism
- The truth is something often overlooked or undervalued in the modern media. This is a problem, more often than not; the truth is pushed to the side in order to make a more sensational story that gains people’s attention. We’re searching for truth in media and we’ll also be analyzing different news sources and mediums and evaluate how well they report on current events and we’ll also look at how much of what they’re saying is the truth, supported by facts and how much is in fact opinion.

The Political Press Circle
Atkins, The Mission
Group Philosophy
We are going to approach this issue with a very chaotic attitude because there are so many mediums that we will critique. Moreover, the group views media as something that ought to sway toward libertarianism and not authoritarianism. We would like to move "toward a people's press" as described by John C. Merrill.

I think that the truth telling coalition is a very good idea. We deserve to know the truth. Some of the truth may hurt us when we know it. The government stuff sometimes needs to be kept quiet. But it is always good to hear the truth.
